✅ Requirements for Applying for the F-1 Visa:
- Admission to a SEVP-approved institution

Once admitted, the institution will send you the I-20 Form, which you must present during your visa interview. - Proof of financial support
You must show that you can cover your tuition, living expenses, housing, and other costs for at least the first academic year. - Ties to your home country
It is important to demonstrate that you have strong ties to your country (such as family, property, studies, work, etc.) and that you intend to return after your studies. - Valid passport
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned entry date into the U.S. - SEVIS fee payment (Form I-901)
This fee must be paid before your consular interview. - DS-160 Form
This is the electronic visa application form and must be completed online. - Consular interview
This takes place at the U.S. embassy or consulate in your country. You will need to present all your documents and answer questions about your study plans.
